All throughout the year one can play a role in Starkville Community Theatre's many activities, productions, parties, and creations. SCT currently stages four productions during its regular season, which run nine performances each. The theatre also produces a season extra each May!

Established in 1994 and "Probably the best bar in the world." Rick's is arguably the best venue for concerts and events that Starkville can offer. They make time to promote local artists as well as make way for bigger names to come through. With great food and tasty drinks Rick's welcomes anyone 18 and older as long as they have a valid I.D. National wildlife refuges offer us all a chance to unplug from the stresses of daily life and reconnect with our natural surroundings. Aside from hunting and fishing, the refuge is known for nature photography and birding. Established in 1940, Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge manages habitat for the conservation of migratory birds.

The architectural design of the golf course provides a mix of both playable and challenging golf holes. It is rare to play the MSU Golf Course and not use every club in your bag. Water hazards come into play on 9 holes. The beautiful landscape of Mississippi farmland can be seen across the lake, creating a sense of serenity while playing these picturesque yet difficult golf holes.
